As a follow-up to November’s webinar, several design examples will be presented, illustrating differences between AISC 360-10 and AISC 360-16 in HSS connection design. A shear connection, truss connection and moment connection will be presented, and handouts will be available for future reference.

Learning objectives include:

• Single plate shear connection to rectangular HSS design in both AISC 360-10 and 360-16.
• Cap plate connection discussion.
• Flange plate moment connection design in both AISC 360-10 and 360-16.
• Rectangular truss cross-connection design in both AISC 360-10 and 360-16.
